Modular Classrooms

This project involved the design of a two-storey modular classroom block with a floor area of approximately 500m2. The modular design focuses on being lightweight and transportable, allowing for repeatable designs for the various seismic zones of NZ. The design intent has some adjustability in mind to suit site specific conditions and preferred site layout. The foundations are designed for site specific conditions and the structural steel chassis is adaptable to either shallow or piled foundations.
